The Rivas Family Reunion was held in Lakeport, Ca. this year (2007) at the home of Irene Rivas and Bob Kiesman. A good time was had by all. Some of the family stayed at Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa in Lakeport on Friday night, while others came up for the day. Those that came up on Friday night enjoyed the music of Credence Clearwater Revisited Concert. The big fiesta was held on August 11th, nine of the fourteen first cousins were there along with my dad (the only living uncle of the family) Next year the family reunion is going to be held on Aug. 2nd 2008. This year 2008 our family reunion was held in Petaluma, California at our Cousin Augie and Kathy's home. From the looks of the pictures a good time was had by all. The Rivas Reunion was held in Petaluma, Caifornia again this year...All but 3 of the first cousins were present, as well as the matriark of the family Uncle Phillip (Claudia and my dad) and Aunt Lois ( Claudia and my step-mom). Several of the second cousins were present and some of the thrid cousins were also there. A good time was had by all. It was great to see all of my first cousins and there significant others. It has been sometime since I have seen them all. Brought tears to my eyes to see everyone and we (my husband Bob and I ) had a great time.
Next year the reunion is to be held in Napa...Tony and Carol will be doing it.
